It all started when my wife and I bought a home to renovate in Dunedin in 2007. The house was a classic 'do-er upper' but what it became was a real prize! Like anything, we found it really hard to start. As soon as the vision of the home we wanted appeared, we could not stop. It was a very rewarding and successful experience. It was this feeling that convinced Louise and I that our future would include renovating houses.
The joy that comes from transforming an older house into something that oozes with personality, charm and comfort has become a sort of addiction for us.
Due to a shortage of appealing land, and the rising costs of building new houses, we noticed that more people were wanting to renovate. So we decided to put our renovating skills and experience to the test, and what was to become Renovate Me was born.
